Plush wigs?
A great option for me would be plush wigs; basically a stitched, hair-shape wig that ties onto our girls' head. Normal wigs are a little jarring on such a cartoonish-looking doll, and I like to lean into how fantasy-like they are, plus wigs become the part of the doll needing the most upkeep or it turns into a tangled, itchy mess very quickly!
I'd love a formed, plush wig that always looks like a shampoo commercial without having to break out the tangle comb again!
Nothing even too fancy, a larger-scale version of the hair attached to the pic related plush toy would be a great basic model.
I'm a nuzzler and wig hair is a very itchy nuzzle, soft plush hair would be a great nuzzle while watching a movie :D

Big J :
There are some threads from long ago on the doll forum where people made plush wigs. I think velour vixens made some single piece plush wigs, but they are MIA or out of business.
On this forum Loverboy made one or had a friend help make one in the thread called ''bambina'' https://www.valentinagirls.com/forum/11000090.html 7/14/2020

I'm going to order a pig tailed wig, which will hopefully stop any need to comb...plus it'll make my new arrival look super cute ;-)

I think you are guys have the right mindset regarding wigs for VG girls. I also think over the top is the way to go. MORE FANTASY. Large afro wigs. Different, loud colors. Huge pigtails. Trying to make a VG girl look like a real woman is a mistake in my opinion.

Best thing to do is to braid ponytails into the wig before you even put it on the doll. Either that or cut it shorter.

While I don't have the skill to pull this off, I would like to see it as an option. https://tantehildesite.wordpress.com/how-to-make-dolls-hair/ 8/20/2020

I may try my fleece wig my friends and I made on Roselina.
They are not that hard, but you would need a sewing machine. The material is a very soft fleece throw. You then make a wig cap out of material and cut strands of hair, and sew them together and then on to the wig cap.
The wig cap is fitted to the doll with safety pins 8/20/2020

I found this plush toy on Etsy. I don’t think the hair would be to tough to make with even minimal skills at the sewing machine. Hatsune Miku hairstyle in blue, maybe?
